Before I go on about more Halloween items, (including maybe some subtle costume ideas—TARDIS, anyone?) I’m going to be a little bit cruel, so I beg your pardon in advance.

Do you see those tights Jen and I are wearing? They’re lovely, super-soft, ultra-stretchy, opaque, and not yet available—unless you live in Portland, Oregon, and head over to our Sellwood Store.

For the vitals on these:

We are wearing Tabbisocks Opaque Microfiber Tights in One Size (Mustard) and L-XL/Tall (Red). These are 80 Denier, which makes them very opaque—but I wouldn’t suggest using them as trousers, because they are sheer enough to read your Day of the Week underthings.

The labels say that One Size fits 5’-5’8/90-148lbs, and that L-XL/Tall fits 5’5-6’/130-178lbs. But as a 98% Nylon/2% Spandex microfiber, we have high hopes of them fitting a wider range than that. We’re collecting feedback on fit at the moment, but so far no one has been disappointed.

Like I said, these are available in our Sellwood Store only (not online yet), and we would love it if anyone who picks up a pair would share with us how they fit for you—especially if you often find it hard to get leggings and tights that fit you the way you feel they should.
