From Dreamer Rosalind, on Facebook:

Striped tights from Leg Avenue are a real classic, and they come in three great sizes! Unfortunately, there are far more color choices available in the one size than in either of the larger sizes, so what’s a curvy girl to do when she needs color combination that doesn’t come in her size??

Well, she can cut the tops off and make super cute thigh highs for layering! That’s what Dreamer Lucy did here! Not having a top band on your thigh highs can be a real advantage — you will need a garter belt to keep them up, but the raw top edge allows for much more stretch, and can be really flattering since they typically won’t bite into your thighs! T-shirt-like materials as well as items with a high nylon content are great for this kind of simple DIY, since they won’t unravel!
