I’m addicted to socks :) I have so many pairs that I can’t count. These were my first pair and I have to say they were a hit with the high schoolers. I believe I started a trend, I feel cool.

We had noticed that teens really dig the Starry Night Knee Highs as well! We think Doctor Who had a little something to do with the sudden interest in Van Gogh. We think that is absolutely brilliant.

I took this picture of my first purchase from you - Pink Knees, in Bubblegum - in 2010, when I was sick in bed. Last fall, I got the long, cuffable, scrunchable socks in natural and am crazy about them. They’ve gotten me through a long cold winter stylishly. Last night, I ordered the coffee/mocha N Stripes.

I love your products almost as much as I love your service and your spirit. You guys are the best.

Hi, guys! I’m thinking of cosplaying Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph, and I was wondering if you guys had any socks or tights for plus sized women in a color similar or close to the ones she wears. I’m crafy enough to paint the stripes on myself, but I can’t seem to find any the right shade of minty green!

Vanellope is such a cool kid! We answered this question over Halloween, so check that out as a resource.
The only snag in this plan is that the Kelly & White tights mentioned in the post don’t come in a larger size. The fit info for these is 90 - 160lbs OR (not ‘and’) 5’ - 5’8. The waist stretches to 35”, so if you have a short inseam you may be able to cheat these.
If not, see if the Ivory Color Tights in L/XL will fit your measurements. Starting with plain ivory tights will require more DIYing on your part to add all the mint and purple stripes, but will also give you greater freedom of colour and placement.

The Diamond Wave OTKs are currently my favourite socks! They’re comfy and the color (plum) is just perfect. I’m really looking forward to warmer weather so I can wear them with my summer shoes (like the El Naturalista shoes in the photo). In the meantime, I’ve been wearing them over thick wool blend tights, and they’ve managed to keep me warm even in the Finnish winter weather.

I’m cosplaying this character, Luna from the video game Virtue’s Last Reward, so I ordered the Harajuku scrunchy socks in lavender as they appeared to be the right light reddish-purple from the picture… However, I just got them in and they are actually more of a lighter blueish-purple like her blouse. Do you have any other socks that would work for her instead?

When I compare the socks to the artwork you’ve provided, there is a slight difference, but not very much. The Lavender Scrunchy Socks are very pinkish purple in person. The other socks we have in lavender/lilac are our Dream Stockings. Below I’ve included some photos of O Basics and M Stockings compared to the Scrunchy Socks. The top photo is under inside lighting, and the bottom is in natural light. Both show up quite a bit bluer on my screen than they are in person:

The two dream stockings are slightly lighter, and have a bit more red to them in person.
It is also possible that your socks were accidentally switched. Take a look at the back of your label for the Scrunchy Socks; if the top number on the sticker ends in a 90, you got the lavender. If it ends in an 86, you got violet, which is very blue, and will need to contact our customer service department.
We wish you luck on your cosplay! It’s going to be really beautiful.

I cannot get over how comfortable these socks are!! I have had such a rough time trying to find knee high socks that don’t cut off the circulation in my wide calves, but these are wonderful. Super warm, super fun and I just adore them. Thank you Sock Dreams for carrying them! I will be back for more :)
