Hello! I noticed that you accept submissions! Please accept a submission of my undying love!
Okay I’m sorry that might have been a little creepy. But I can’t stop gushing about my new Sock Dreams socks. Here’s a picture of me chillin’ in my Purple Knees.
I have bigger feet and bigger calves and thighs than most, but these really amazed me. You guys were right when you said they were a bit loose in the feet; I thought they would be perfect for my size 10’s but they have room to spare! As for the rest of them, I can’t pull them up past my knees as the cuffs get a little tight, but they have a lot of staying power and I didn’t have to pull them up once!
When I first got them, I was a little bit worried that the fabric might be a little bit rough, but after stretching them out and putting them on I’ve fallen in love with how comfy they are. I’ve since bought three more pairs of socks and I can’t wait to wear them with some of my outfits. You guys are great! I’m definitely going to be a returning customer for a long time!
Thanks muchly for submitting your photo and sweet review! I’m so glad you’re enjoying your Purple Knees, and I hope your other new socks are treating you just as well. :)
Socksters: it’s worth noting (again! always!) that the Purple Knees in Bubblegum are almost an exact stripe match for a certain grinning cat…

Unfortunately a dark photo, this is me layering Coffee&Mocha N Stripes, grey/olive/black Dreamy Striped Tubes, and Sock It To Me Stars (sadly discontinued!) and Sock it to Me Swallow Stripes Knee Highs. You’ll also see a Checkerboard Arm Warmer and a Chevron Sleeve. I was a Harajuku girl for Halloween.

Those are the Extraordinarily Longer Thigh High with the Snappy Keyhole Sock Garters on top of them!
The thigh highs are VERY comfortable and fit well! I love the material and the stretch around the thighs, so they don’t feel too tight! The sock garters are very and also fit nicely. My only complaint is that the snaps are hard to open and I’m afraid I’m going to pull the fabric around the snaps off.

These are the Super Stripes ~ Longer thigh highs, again with the snappy keyhole garters.
I love the material, but they fit a bit snugly around my thighs (they’re 20”), but other than that they are quite comfortable and very cute! I love the design.

And finally, I am wearing the Premium Cotton Legging (try not to mind my shirt too much). Like the rest of the items listed here, these are extremely comfortable. I love how they fit as well! I’m just a little nervous that I’m going to pop a hole in the area between the legs since the material is kind of thin.

O Dreamy Stockings ($12) in Heliotrope with Simply Adjustable Sock Garters ($12)!
These arrived a couple of days ago. I love them :D They’re super soft and nicely leg-hugging. They’re a great fit on me; I’m about 5’6” and don’t really know how much I weigh, but I’m fairly sure it’s around about 10 stone (140lbs), maybe a bit less.

I love this colour of O Dreamies! It looks very burgundy here in full sunlight, but they’re, on the whole, a lot darker—like oil on water on asphalt.

Just got them in the mail today! They fit perfectly (I’m 5’7”-8” and ~135lbs) and they’re actually super comfortable!
Tumblr Fairy: Yet another gorgeous photo of Foot Traffic’s Floral Flocked Tights (Grey/Black, $12). Also available in footless tights!
Also, thank you so much for including your stats! Lots of people are shy about it, but I can not stress enough how helpful it is to other people who are unsure of fit, and therefore shy about making a purchase.

I really do have an addiction to sock dreams. 3 drawers full. It started as just 3 pairs I got after surgery..then I fell in love. Free shipping in the USA? count me in! The O Basics (Teal, $6) will forever be my faves, I have almost every color and since I am graced with shortness they are both thigh high and slouchy knee socks for me.

I just got the Super Dreamy Stockings ($16) in Heliotrope and as you can see, they definitely live up to their name. They are also super LONG on my comparatively tiny frame, so I decided to keep them up with a pair of Star Sock Garters (SOLD OUT, $13). The sock garters worked perfectly; I didn’t have to adjust them once! Even though these are gone, we also carry a variety of fancy sock garters, from the standard Simply Adjustable Sock Garters ($12), to the more elaborate Snappy Garters line by Shelleopard (starting at $15+).

I dyed your socks.
I’m going to do it again.

I am super impressed and excited by this submission! Our socks can be dyed, and to great effect! Show here are a pair of our own Long Cuffable Scrunchable Socks ($12) in Natural, dyed a really lovely rosy brown. Because I wanted to know (and through a few of you might as well), ofthreadandmind provided some extra information on how she was able to achieve this colour, and also some info on how it effected the material and structure of the sock:
The dye brand and color was RIT Cocoa Brown, and I did use an extra chemical called Synthrapol in the dye bath that helps give an even color. There wasn’t any shrinking or changes in the socks, as far as I could tell.
As for the color, the entire sock was dyed, including the elastic parts. The only mention I’d have to include is that because they’re part acrylic, the same socks might not be able to achieve really dark or intense colors as promised on the boxes.
The color hasn’t rubbed off, but RIT dye is a pretty bad and cheap dye that tends to bleed and fade after the first wash. I washed the socks in some stuff called Retayne that stops the bleeding and fading problem.
There’s a superior dye that would work really well called Procion MX. It’s commonly used for tie dye projects, but it might be harder to find locally.

These are SO super adorable! Now that it’s winter, it’s time to bust out the long socks (or invest in a pair or five…). It’s the one awesome thing about cold weather and the loss of precious daylight hours.

Got this Lo Pocket Sport ($39) from Sock Dreams yesterday. It is the perfect size to hold my cell phone and a few cards. And it has adjustable velcro bits to help make the stretchy straps fit just right. Now I don’t have to worry about whether or not my skirt has pockets :-)

Cute and functional, and made locally here in Portland, Oregon! This is a must-have for those who travel a lot because it keeps your valuables close and safe.
We just got a brand new shipment of these in today, so there should be enough to go around!

Waiting for the ferry to cross Michigan Lake with my ‘Oregon’ outfit on of..sundress ( it was in the 70’s), jeans (was getting on a ferry), and of course my arm warmers to match! Love them tons:)

Tumblr Fairy: Oh, the nostalgia I’m feeling for sunshine. I mean, it feels like it was only two weeks ago… Anyway, Cat is lookin’ adorable in her Harajuku Arm Warmers ($9), scarf and plaid sundress. I might have to steal this combo when the sun decides it likes the Pacific Northwest again.
